Travertine Limestone and Travetine Marble are the same stone. They are characterized by winding, irregular holes in the surface, with the flats finished to varying degrees of smoothness and reflectivity. “Shell stone” is another type of this same material with shells imbedded. Our travertine sinks are lightly sealed with several coats of standard stone sink sealer. Your contractor will need to grout and seal your sink further to prevent leaking, waterproof and property finish the sealing process.
